Our ESL Ministry intentionally demonstrates the love of Christ to English learners by teaching English as a second language, celebrating diverse cultures, and building meaningful relationships.

Motel Church strives to reach the transient population, the homeless, and the working people who live at the motels. Our primary focus is to share the hope we have in Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit to bring healing and restoration to the broken hearted.
Get Involved: Motel Church Laurel meets every 2nd and 4th Saturday.

Nursing Home Outreach
“We must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”-Acts 20:35
We know that the elderly in our community are commonly neglected and at high risk for feelings of loneliness, cynicism, and hopelessness. This outreach ministry regularly brings the hopeful gospel message, fellowship, encouragement, and support to the residents of the Lorien Nursing Home in Columbia.
Get Involved: Our Lorien Nursing Home Outreach team serves on the second Saturday of each month. All are welcome to join!
We pray that God will raise up young leaders passionate about caring for senior citizens so that we can multiply this important ministry.

Park Heights Saints

The Park Heights Saints Community Center works together with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) to make disciples of Baltimore City Youth through coaching and mentorship.
Get Involved: We are looking for men interested in mentoring the athletes that participate at the Park Heights Saints Community Center. The commitment is for a few hours each week on Wednesday evenings.

Public School Outreach
“learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless,” -Isaiah 1:17
We are passionate about empowering vulnerable kids, and one of the ways we have the privilege to do this is through partnering with HCPSS Title I and alternative schools. In addition to our ESL programs (see ESL Ministry), we also provide backpacks, hygiene kits, holiday gift baskets, and more to students at our partner schools each year.

Get Involved: We are praying for small groups to commit to joining our Public School Outreach team and taking on a particular project. We need all skills, talents, and hands on deck to show the love of Christ to our local kids!
We are looking for people to take on these areas of need: Backpack Drive, school beautification, career counseling (at Homewood), teacher appreciation, and Back to School Night (at Laurel Woods).

Clothing Closet Distribution
“Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.” -Luke 3:11
Our Clothing Closet Ministry collects and distributes gently used clothing to those in need, working closely with the school system, the international community, and other local partnerships. Community clothing distribution events are scheduled throughout the year, and clothing is available at Grace on an as-needed basis.

Chin Community Outreach

We strive to meet the growing needs of the Chin Baptist Church, our brothers and sisters in Christ who worship in Grace Place on Sundays at 1pm. We hope to assist the Chin youth to adjust well to life in Howard County.
Get Involved: Is your small group passionate about serving the sojourner? The Chin community is made up of refugee Christians who were persecuted in their home country. We are praying for small groups that would step up and serve our Chin brothers through semi-regular career workshops or tutoring sessions.
