Grace Kids

Grace Kids partners with parents to build disciples of the next generation. We offer programming for children of all ages.

Partnering with Parents

We care for children through teaching the Scriptures in fun, age-appropriate ways, helping children learn who their Heavenly Father is and what He has done for us in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Grace Kids is divided into two parts of our building on Sundays: Birth-PreK and K-5th grade.

Each Sunday, children learn about Jesus through the Gospel Project lesson, and our team uses their creative gifts to impart the amazing news of the gospel. After the lesson, we encourage community by gathering together by grade where our team members lead a small group, age-appropriate discussion based on the week’s message.

What to expect

If you are planning a visit to Grace, our Grace Kids First Impression team members are ready to welcome you. Our Guest Desks in both Birth-PreK and K-5th are open for 30 minutes at each gathering: 8:45-9:15A,  10:45-11:15A, and 12:45 – 1P on Sundays.

Our staff and team intentionally create a safe and meaningful weekend experience for children so we ask families to check-in children early enough so that they won’t miss any part of the program and lesson. We recommend arriving about 15 minutes before the gathering begins to ensure a comfortable transition.

All of our ministry teams are led by staff and team coaches. All team members have name tag and Grace Kids t-shirts, which makes them easy to identify. If you should need assistance, all of our Grace Kids staff or team members are available to help.

When can I check in my child?

Check-in begins at 8:45A, 10:45A and 12:45P  on Sunday. Check-In also closes at 9:15A, 11:15A and 1:15P.  Families receive a set of matching tags, one for you and one for your child. Should a team member need to reach you during the gathering, the number on your parent tag will appear on the lower left side of the center screen in the main auditorium. Members of our First Impressions team will explain to you our visitor check-in procedures and escort you and your family to your child’s room for the service. During the check-in, please let us know of any allergies, health concerns or special needs. Parents with children with disabilities or special needs are invited to have a conversation with one of our trained GraceGEMs team members to learn how best to serve your child and family.

How do I pick up my child?

Safety is one of our key values and to uphold that value, we will not release a child to anyone other than the person who shows the matching tag. Families must present matching tags at the end of the gathering, to pick up children.  If a tag is lost, please see a staff member or team coach.  Families are asked to show identification for child pick-up if tags are lost or misplaced.

Why we’re using Realm for Check-In and Communication

Realm provides a completely secure and streamlined check-in experience. This makes life easier for parents and helps us take better care of your children.

Realm gives us great tools to help you stay connected to what your children are learning at GraceKids. Please have your email settings at “New Things” for the GraceKids group so you don’t miss important information.

It will help us take good care of your children

When you check-in your children through Realm, your personal barcode, last for digits of your phone or last name will be the check-in key for your child. This helps us to streamline our process and allows the staff to know who is checked in for the services and the attendance numbers to satisfy safety ratios of children to team members.

It will help you stay connected to what your kids are learning at Grace

Realm will automatically connect you into GraceKids ministry groups where you’ll receive important communication, including weekly summaries of what  we’re learning. You can also interact with GraceKids staff, team members and other parents through these groups.

It will help new people connect to Grace

GraceKids is one of the primary connection points for new families visiting Grace. Realm’s check-in feature helps us provide a great First Impression, and makes it easy for us to follow up with new families and help them discover opportunities to connect to our families beyond Sunday.

Sign up for Realm. You will go to a page where you enter your email. Then you will receive an email invitation with a link to confirm and sign up.
