Grace 14:18

Our mission is to encourage, support, and equip families that God has brought together through adoption or foster care; to preserve at-risk families by partnering with local and global organizations; and to galvanize the whole church to biblically respond to the plight of the orphan and vulnerable children.

“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.”

– John 14:18

March 21 // 9A-12P

Come and learn the basics of Trust-Based Relational Intervention – a method of parenting and caregiving that helps children that have endured trauma feel heard and understood. While trauma may be part of a child’s past, it doesn’t have to be a part of their future. God is a God of redemption and TBRI is a way we walk alongside those that have been hurt in the past.  The method is essentially three parts of care; connect, empower, and correct. The first step for parents or caregivers is to connect with their child. Second step is to empower the children. Once the child feels connected and empowered, then the parent or caregiver has the right to correct. This workshop is for parents, teachers, Grace Kids small group or D-Team leaders, and anyone who wants to more effectively engage with children.
