Hello, everyone! And happy Tuesday! We have another amazing week of gatherings ahead of us and we look forward to seeing you all there.
High School Update: Our high school gathering will begin in the warehouse this week & and we will move into Grace’s West End (K5 area) for D-Teams. We will enjoy 30 minutes of fellowship and snacks at the end of the night, and we wrap up our activities at 9:30p.
Students are NOT allowed to enter or exit Grace Community Church at the East Entrance (Front of Grace). Please drop off and pick up students at the Warehouse. Thanks!
Middle School Update: Games with Derek is back! Students will be playing for points all school year and will play old favorites as well as some fun new games. Attend service on Sundays to learn more!
Fall Retreat Update: Retreat is almost here! It is only 24 days away and WE NEED MORE VOLUNTEERS! If you are ready to help us create a welcoming and safe environment for our students at the retreat, please consider registering as a “Check-In volunteer” or a “Kitchen Crew Volunteer”. Check-in volunteers will help us on Friday, October 9th and will help hand out t-shirts, forms, and set up food for our students & leaders. Kitchen Crew Volunteers will stay at North Bay from October 9 to the 11 and will be in charge of providing our students and leaders with delicious, nutritious meals. Please prayerfully consider serving in either of these roles and register here. Students who need to register can also register using the same link.

Every gathering will begin with worship and a large group teaching, and then students will gather with their D-Teams for further reflection and study. Middle School D-Teams will meet throughout the week at their designated host homes and at Grace Community Church and are led by our awesome D-Team Leaders. Students meet several times a month from Labor Day to Memorial Day. Registration can be found here MS D-Team registration and will be open at 4:30P on Thursday, Aug 27.

Our baptism class is the first step to getting baptized at Grace, or to learn more about what baptism means. At this two-session class, you will learn about the theology of baptism and how we make your testimony and faith journey memorable and meaningful. Student Baptism Class is available to anyone in grades 6th through 12th . Ready to learn more? Our next class will take place on September 20 and 27. You can register here

Wow! What a week! We have been preparing for the upcoming retreat and the start of our D-Team studies. We still have space for both students and volunteers at the Retreat. Sign up before registration closes on September 24. Register here
We kicked off our High School gatherings on Wednesday, September 10 and were blessed with over 100 students! It was a wonderful night of worship, fellowship, and growing in our relationship with Jesus. If you haven’t had a chance to register, you can still register for this year’s D-Teams (find the registration link below). We look forward to spending time with you this school year.

High School Student Leadership Team//SEP 13
Student Leadership is designed to help students grow as Christ-centered leaders who are equipped to serve, influence others, and take greater ownership in the High School Ministry.
Student leaders will gather monthly to share a meal, pray together, study how the Gospel shapes every area of life as leaders, celebrate how God is at work in our ministry, and prepare to serve for the month ahead. Students will have opportunities to use their gifts and help serve in different areas of the ministry through teams focused on Welcome & Community, Games & Communications, and Prayer & Mission.
Throughout the year, student leaders will be challenged to grow in their faith, develop as leaders, help shape the culture of our ministry, and intentionally invest in a younger student through prayer, encouragement, and friendship.
Our first Student Leadership meeting will be Sunday, September 13 from 5–7P in Grace Place. Encourage your student to apply and take a step toward growing as a leader and ambassador for Christ among their peers.

Grace GEMS Interest Meeting (Special Needs Ministry)//SEP 13 & 20
As our Grace GEMS ministry grows, we are praying for new volunteers that will help us grow the ministry and create a sustainable and welcoming environment at the middle school and high school gatherings.
Join our dedicated team and help make a lasting impact on children, students, and young adults with special needs, as well as their families. No experience required. Come to the meeting to learn more about the ministry, ask questions, and hear from current team members and families.
The meeting will be held after each gathering on September 13 and 20 in Room 306, Birth-PreK (room on the right after playground).

Week of Unbroken Prayer at the Warehouse SEPT 2
The Week of Unbroken Prayer is 144 continuous hours of prayer and petition to God taking place at Grace Community Church from Sunday August 30, 7P- Friday September 4, 7P. As part of this church-wide initiative, Grace Students will be hosting an interactive prayer experience on Wednesday, September 2, from 7–9P in the Warehouse. While the prayer stations are designed with students in mind, this is a family-friendly event and all ages are invited to participate together. This is a wonderful opportunity for your family to come together in prayer as we seek God and glorify Him.

Our high school & middle school ministries are praying for new volunteers to join our Sunday morning & Wednesday night gatherings. It takes at least 6 volunteers at each service to provide an efficient, safe, and welcoming environment for all of our students. Volunteers can serve as often as every gathering (every other month), or as little as once a month. Thank you for prayerfully choosing to serve in our ministry!

Hello and Happy Tuesday!
Is everyone excited for the new school year? We are! Grace Students is preparing for the upcoming school year, and we are especially excited for the fall retreat! We are going back to our favorite stomping ground, North Bay, from October 9th through the 11th. It will be an amazing time of fellowship and praising God for the wonderful father He is. I look forward to seeing you all there!

Good morning & happy Tuesday!
As summer comes to an end and everyone prepares for the start of school (yay!), Grace Students is preparing for the upcoming ministry year. We have the warehouse clean-up, Goat ball, D-Teams, and the Fall Retreat registration coming up soon!

HS Summer Evening Bible Studies // Wednesdays through AUG 13 // 7:30-9:30P
Join the High School Directors Carlos Urtecho and Brooke Schneider on Wednesday nights for a summer Bible Study. We will meet in the Warehouse together at 7:30P and then Carlos will lead the boys, and Brooke will lead the girls. We will be wrapped up by 9:30P. This will continue through August 19th. Come grow in God’s Word, connect with friends, and deepen your faith with us this summer.

Help us clean and organize the Warehouse! We’ll spend the day cleaning, organizing, labeling, and beautifying the space so it’s ready to welcome students for programming in the months ahead. HS Orioles Game Christian Faith Night // AUG 20
HS students, Christian Faith Night at Camden Yards has been rescheduled. After the game there will be a worship concert and we will get to hear from some of the Christian Orioles baseball players as they share their testimonies. This past week we welcomed back our El Salvador Impact Trip team and began to form our high School worship team. Please continue to pray for our impact teams as they take this time to revel at God’s feet and the good works they have completed to further His kingdom.

High school students will gather at Brighton Gardens Senior Living Community on Thursday afternoons beginning July 30 until August 20. We will take the time to build relationships and fellowship with residents. We will meet from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
