Ryan Condillac’s Story

I grew up in a Christian home. My parents introduced me to Christ. We attended church as a family, but I did not really embrace the faith and I was not actively trying to walk in the faith. Growing up, I believed that salvation was earned based on deeds, not Jesus Christ on the cross.

My parents, my family, my wife, the churches we attended, and numerous people God placed in our lives all helped me in my spiritual journey. They all pointed me to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I had a better understanding of His mercy, grace, and forgiveness for my sins, and the need to repent. I accepted Him as my personal Lord and Savior.

Christ has liberated me from the grip of sin and given me a heart for Him. Since then my life has changed. I’ve had a realization of the change when facing challenges. I know that I cannot do things on my own strength. I now see His hand in this. Now, I count on Jesus to carry me through these situations.

I am being baptized now to publicly express what has already happened in my heart. I am a follower of Jesus and want to live a life with Him.
