There are middle school students getting baptized this weekend, too! How inspiring it is to see Jesus working in their lives:

Hi, my name is Morgan Bell.  I have a dog named Charlie and my favorite colors are blue, pink, and purple.  I have trusted Jesus since I was 6 or 7, but since the youth retreat I have become more thankful for what Jesus did for us.

I am trusting Jesus more because I know that if he can rise from the dead, he can save me from my anxiety.

I am getting baptized because I trust Jesus with all my heart and I finally became brave enough to get up in front of people to declare that. Before I trusted Jesus, I was worried all the time, but now that has changed. Ever since I really connected with Jesus at the youth retreat, I have been less worried about things I am usually worried about. At the retreat, they taught us about Jesus and how he died on the cross to save us from our sins. This message became real to me, I connected with Jesus, and now I’m getting baptized to show others that I believe in him.

Baptism at Grace

During all worship gatherings on Baptism Weekends, we celebrate the very reason we exist as a church: Christ’s mission to make disciples, baptizing and teaching in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28: 19-20). We share testimonies of how Jesus changes lives now and for eternity. And the best part… we baptize with a joy that’s out of this world!
