Prayer

Prayer is a vital way we connect with God and others. At Grace you can experience prayer with others, for others (intercessory prayer), as well as on your own. No matter how much or how little experience you have with prayer, there are ways to grow in your prayer life and serve others through prayer.

Learn to Pray

Grace’s Prayer Ministry offers practical ways to have deeper and more intimate prayers with God. Experience how to make the discipline of prayer a constant part of your spiritual life, growing closer to God each day.

Give & Receive Prayer

The Prayer Chain, which includes multiple prayer teams and the Grace Elder Team, prays faithfully for the personal prayer requests submitted by church members and guests. Submit your prayer requests via our app.

You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like!

Because of reduced salary (instead of a complete furlough) I will have to move. Please pray for all logistics. But my God shall supply all my needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus

Please pray for all of the people of Uganda and other third world countries that during this time of such dangers of being close to people, cannot really take such persuasions without hurting themselves and heir family. When their only possible income is provided through selling their own goods in the local markets to both other people in the village and tourists that may visit. They are just not able to get that income at this time. There are no tourists and many in their village might be sick and struggling with income issues as well. So please pray for them financially. Also pray that with this financial desperation, that with it also doesn't spark violence. That people do not become so desperate that they don't resort to violence to get their needs met.

Please pray for my grandma, she’s in a nursing home and recently stopped being as lucid due to the isolation and in the past couple days she doesn’t want to eat. This is the longest she’s gone without a visit. It’s hard to get through on the phone because the staff is so busy. Please pray for us and her, her birthday is in June.

My 95-year-oild mother lives in Charlestown Retirement Community. We talk several times a day, but are not allowed to go visit with her. She has problems with anxiety as a baseline and the quarantine is escalating that. I know this is a difficult time for everyone but the elderly are especially vulnerable as a high-risk group. She's worried this is how her life will end and she had hoped for a "happier" ending. She prays a lot but doesn't know the "peace that surpasses all understanding"

I wanted to thank everyone who has been praying for my brother Michael who is in a nursing home in VA and contracted COVID19. My brother never had really bad symptoms which is a miracle. He has a severely compromised immune system and is doing fine and has tested positive for the antibodies. He is just waiting for the all the other residents with COVID19 to get the all clear so they can return to their rooms.

Please continue to pray for my brother’s salvation. God is not done with him. He has almost died 3 times within the last year and a half. All of this has opened him to conversations about salvation.

I have a mild chemical imbalance and have struggled with depression off and on for years. I recently started taking antidepressants again and am struggling in these trying times. I would like God to teach me contentment and peace because the harder I try to be content, I just end up suppressing discontentment and negative emotions and feeling more and more numb.

My prayers are for my daughter Megan, a believer. She managed my care so I would not have to go to the ER, but it affected her health. She was exposed in her old rental to mold and the new place now has mold and the builder won't fix anything. The house needs to be fixed as she is still living in the basement in a tent with HEPA filters running. No one should have to live like this. She is asking for prayer. I know God has a plan but she is stuck in the valley with no hope. We are both so tired. Lord please give her a Hallelujah moment. We need some miracles Lord. We believe. We praise you.

Pray that my friend would make a decision for Christ. Latest events seems to have soften his heart. My friend has been on this journey for a while and just praying that God send the right people to cross paths with him.

Prayers for a friend who had a miscarriage. Prayers for their hearts to be comforted by God in this loss. Prayers for an unbelieving friend who lost her Dad to covid-19 on April 1. Prayers for Gods word and grace to penetrate the darkness and reveal truth. Prayers of praise for the graciousness of God to us all that we would see and believe and know it is He who has called us out of darkness and into his marvelous light. God is good and I am trusting in his unfailing grace today. Choosing Christ and choosing faith over fear.

Friend of Grace

Thank you for those who’ve prayed for my husband , my self and my son . My husband was very ill today. I called the Maryland Health Dept. who advised we take him to urgent care . I managed to buy him some antibiotics that had been prescribed previously but we had not bought . My brother paid for the medicines. Please continue to support me in prayer. Let’s pray it’s not COVID 19 as the symptoms are so similar. Let’s pray that he’ll wake up feeling better and won’t have to go to urgent care as we don’t have money and no insurance I’m feeling better although not fully recovered. I don’t have COVID-19 and I thank God, Jesus for continued healing, grace and mercies. Amen
