We’re still celebrating the work that Jesus did in the lives of those who were baptized last weekend, and we are excited to see how those individuals impact others for the Kingdom.

Julianna Kelley is a middle school student who was baptized last weekend – check out her story:

I was lost but now I am found, I was broken but now I am made whole!

I realized that I was obsessed with pleasing others and making everyone like me, even if I knew it wasn’t pleasing to God.

On Christmas of 2014 (when I was in 6th grade), I finally realized that something in my life was missing. After a lot of prayer and alone time with my Heavenly Father, I became aware that something in my life was wrong and I didn’t want that feeling any longer. That’s when I took a big step and called out to Jesus to come into my life – and that’s exactly what he did! That special day marked my new life in Christ! I realized that all of my sin was washed away by the power of Jesus’ blood which was shed on the Cross for me.

I know that I will forever be free because I belong to Jesus Christ. I have his royal blood flowing through my veins and I live daily through the refreshment of Christ.

Now and forevermore, I know that my sin is erased and I am rescued from the darkness and now walk in the light. I follow the footsteps of the Lord. There is a new spot opened for me in heaven!

I am glad to know that my brothers and sisters in Christ are going to join me in my heavenly home so that we can all live together eternally in peace. I am excited to know that the war is won through the victory I now have in Christ.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

– Philippians 4:13

I have decided to proclaim my new life in Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, by getting baptized.

Baptism at Grace

During all worship gatherings on Baptism Weekends, we celebrate the very reason we exist as a church: Christ’s mission to make disciples, baptizing and teaching in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28: 19-20). We share testimonies of how Jesus changes lives now and for eternity. And the best part… we baptize with a joy that’s out of this world!
