I grew up in a Christian home and was pushed in the way of God through my parents. I thought I knew who God was but I never really grasped what he was actually about, so when questions started to appear in my head, I didn’t know what to do. So I distanced myself from Jesus, believing that I could do life all on my own, but I couldn’t, it was too difficult.

When my brother left for college and was away for long periods of time it was especially hard. But when he left, he gave me a touching letter and note cards with Bible verses on them for me to read. The note cards and the letter answered the questions had about God and what he truly meant. I started to seek God again in my life and am now coming to the water to be baptized and proclaim my love for Jesus and his love for me.
