GRACE STUDENTS FALL RETREAT // OCT 16-17

Families, you will not want to miss this year’s fall retreat, so don’t forget to register! This year’s retreat will be in-person at Grace or available virtually for $75.00.

During the retreat we will focus on proclaiming the truth of the gospel and digging deep into how the gospel calls us to follow Christ. This will be a great experience for your student to have a safe community during these hard times, as well as extending an invitation to their friends to join. Excited to see you there either in person or through the zoom screen!

Every Sunday night through November 8th, Grace Students will be partaking in the 40 days of prayer with Ignite to cover students and their families in prayer. This is a great time to gather with your family and friends in front of the zoom camera and come to the Lord. During this time we will declare God’s praises and plead for the gospel to go forth from our students hearts throughout our region.

Sunday Nights @ 8PM // PRAY WITH US. Click the link below to access the zoom call info.

D-TEAMS

Are you connected to a D-Team? Discipleship teams are a great way to get connected during the week with your fellow classmates and friends. During D-Teams students dive into scripture, study it, and apply the word to their daily lives in Christ centered communities as they navigate middle school and high school.

GRACE STUDENTS NEEDS

Parents during this time there are always needs. We encourage you to join in during these years with your students. Please press in and serve whenever you are available, as we desire to partner with you to make disciples of the next generation. Please email grace.students@gcconline.org for more information on how and where to get plugged in.

Encouragement from Nathanael

I have been reading a variety of new books in order to recommend our students with pre-vetted books and other resources to read alongside their Bible. In my reading, I came across  Priscilla Shirer’s book “Radiant,” where she says, “Your significance is not found in how others perceive you and whether or not they accept you. Your value doesn’t rely on their applause. You are made in the image of God himself.”

Parents, take time to remind yourself the truth of Genesis 1:27, then take time before school one morning this week and pray this over your child. We are partnering and praying with you as well.
