HAPPY TURKEY DAY

GRACE STUDENTS  Top 3

GS Christmas Celebration Update

Due to the new county restrictions on gatherings, we have made the difficult decision to not have our normal Grace Students Christmas Celebration at the warehouse.  Instead the Grace Students Christmas Celebration will happen within the D-Teams.

  • D-Teams will host the Christmas Celebration for their group.  If you’re not already part of a D-Team, this is a great time to get connected.  If you need help getting connected contact gracestudents@gcconline.org.
  • There will be a prerecorded message on the birth of Jesus with a time of discussion to follow as we dive deeper into what Immanuel truly means for us today.
  • Ugly sweater and gingerbread house contests will still happen. Each D-Team will have a winner for the ugly sweater and gingerbread house contest.  Each winner will then go up against the other D-Team winners to compete for the ultimate prize for each catagory.  These prizes are epic!
  • Please contact your D-Dteam leader for date and time your D-Team will be having their Christmas Celebration or gracestudents@gcconline.org so we can help you get connected.

Finally, God is with us. I pray that these four words stir us on during this season and the many to come, so that we know where our hope truly is and forever will be.

Serving Opportunities

Hey Students, are you looking for ways to connect with others during the weekend gatherings?  Well, you’re in luck.  Our weekend experience team is looking for students wanting to use their talents to serve.  If you would be interested in learning how to operate a camera, serve as an usher or greet people, use the link below to get started.

Encouragement from the team

I have been reading a devotion called “The Passion of Jesus Christ” by John Piper during these past few weeks. Something Piper says about our righteousness through Christ really stuck with me. “The suffering of Christ secures our perfection so firmly that it is already now a reality.” (49)

What a wonderful truth, that we can fight sin through Christ. In our struggle with temptations Chirst was our advocate on the cross and remains our advocate at the right hand of God. In striving for holliness and sancitfication remember to press into the one who fought our fight at the cross. Press into the Immanuel who carries our burdens for us. Turn your eyes upon Jesus.

“For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.” Heb . 10:14

Blessings,
Grace Students Team
