I was raised by a mother that knew Christ and a father that did not until late in his life. Many sins went on through that home. My mother taught me about Christ, but I never knew him as my Savior until God placed random people in and out of my life in my early 20’s.

Around that same time, I met my husband who wasn’t saved. We started to go to church, followed Christ, and our lives changed for the better. We had five children, but, 28 years later we divorced. That is when my children’s and my faith were tested. I believed God would fix everything, and I lost faith when he did not. God has walked me through a journey in which only he can see the ending, which brings me to Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Today, I admit I am a sinner and ask Jesus Christ to truly be my Savior, to forgive me for my sins, and come into my life. Romans 6:4 says, “We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” AND Acts 2:38 Peter said “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
