Parenting is no easy endeavor especially in today’s culture. Of the many issues parents face, discussing sex and screens is often daunting. Parents are uncertain on how to approach these subjects, leaving conversations tense at best or avoided at worst. It doesn’t have to be this way. At this Speaker Series, counselor Eliza Huie will bring personal experience coupled with her years of counseling families. She will address these issues head on with street-level application. Her approach brings biblical principles rooted in love and grace in a way that leaves parents hopeful and equipped.

About the Speaker:

Eliza Huie is the Director of Life Counseling Ministry and the Dean of Biblical Counseling at Metro Baltimore Seminary. As a licensed counselor with biblical training, she brings expertise to the challenges parents face in a way that emphasizes organic gospel connections. She and her husband Ken have three young adult children. She is the author of Raising Kids in a Screen-Saturated World, and Raising Teens in a Hyper-Sexualized World.
